Jelle focuses primarily on Infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on issues relating to the model contracts. He is certainly no stranger to image quality agreements and framework agreements. Jelle deals almost daily with legal issues arising in the fields of Infrastructure engineering, as well as landscaping.

A solution-oriented approach is paramount. Jelle is keen to provide clients with advice and support to enable them to reach agreements by themselves with the employer, supplier or subcontractor. This might involve, for example, drafting a memo based on which the contractor can engage in discussions with the employer directly. Should positions on both sides unexpectedly harden and legal proceedings become unavoidable, he is fully committed to his clients’ interests throughout the proceedings.

Building on his experience in civil engineering practice, Jelle has also specialized in procurement law:

“A contract must first be secured before any discussion about its execution can take place.”

He understands that sound advice during the tendering phase or a well-founded objection in the event of failing to secure a contract can make all the difference.
