Algemeen:

Paul Severijn (1952) graduated from Law School in Tilburg (nowadays the University of Tilburg) in 1981. After his graduation, he started working at the law firm AKD (and its legal predecessors) and became a partner in 1987. He is one of the founding fathers and partners of Severijn Hulshof advocaten (as from 1 June 2003). Paul acts for almost all large building companies as well as the Dutch SME Federation (MKB Nederland) and apart from that a number of foreign building companies. He is involved in large infrastructural projects and has extensive experience with the groundwork, road and hydraulic engineering (GWW) sector and the residential and non-residential building (B&U) sector. He gives lectures and writes articles on a regular basis about current issues in the building industry. He is a member and lawyer of the Court of Arbitration for the Building Industry in the Netherlands. He is mentioned in The International Who’s Who of Construction Lawyers as “One of the world’s leading practitioners” and in the PLC Cross-border Corporate Real Estate Handbook as “Highly recommended”. He is also mentioned in the Legal 500.
